Pediatric Dentistry Fund

The pediatric dentistry graduate program and the Pediatric Dental Clinic were established as part of the Center for Advanced Dental Education in July 2017. The Pediatric Dental Clinic provides services to children in Missouri who otherwise lack access to dental care. The practice focuses on patients with special health care needs, including but not limited to autism, intellectual disabilities, cerebral palsy and craniofacial disorders.

As the field of each of our specialty programs evolve, it’s critical we continue to be leaders in the science and research of endodontics, orthodontics, and periodontics. We must ensure that future generations of students have the same excellent academic experience and training that our alumni secured. In honor of SLU Giving Day, esteemed alumnus Rudi Roeslein (IT ’71) has graciously agreed to give $100,000 to Saint Louis University once we reach 500 donors today. “I am so privileged and honored to help these young adults, who are the future leaders of our country,” Roeslein said.

McCulla Bridge Fund Challenge
The Summer Science Research Program for High School Students provides an immersive research experience for high school students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. In this program, students work with faculty mentors on summer research projects and take part in career readiness activities. Today, once 10 gifts are made to the McCulla Bridge fund, an additional $1,200 will be unlocked by generous faculty member Ryan McCulla. Once 20 gifts have been made, an additional $3,800 will be unlocked from generous alumnus Kyle Howerton. (AS '08).
